K Insurance Group was founded by Nord and Teddi Krauskopf in 1952. The company originated as a motorsports insurance agency due to the Krauskopfs involvement in racing. It acted as both a sponsor and participant in motorsport activities throughout the 1960s. The K&K Insurance Dodge racing team accrued numerous achievements during this time, including the 1970 NASCAR Grand National Championship. K&K is currently a subsidiary of Aon, one of the largest multinational insurance brokers in the world. Fitness Insurance Program

K&K’s fitness liability insurance program is tailored to personal training, exercise, yoga and Pilates instructors who conduct individual or group fitness classes. All of the following disciplines are also covered by the program: aerobics, aquatic exercise, cardio kickboxing, children’s fitness, dance, exercise, fitness bootcamp, GYROTONIC, hoop fitness, personal training, Pilates, Qigong, spinning, strength, stroller-based fitness, tai chai, yoga and ZUMBA. K&K’s fitness liability coverage includes professional liability insurance, bodily injury and property damage coverage, products-completed operations insurance, personal and advertising injury, medical expenses, legal liability to participants, rental damage coverage, and sexual abuse, molestation, harassment or conduct defense cost reimbursement.

Instructors are eligible for one- or two-year coverage terms, as well as six different commercial general liability limits: (1) $500,000 (2) $1 million (3) $2 million (4) $3 million (5) $4 million and (6) $5 million per occurrence. Premiums vary depending on the length of the coverage period, the selected limits of liability and the instructor’s certification level. For example, the first option is offered at an annual rate of $144 for certified instructors and $184 for non-certified instructors. The sixth option is offered at an annual rate of $1,019 for certified instructors and $1,095 for non-certified instructors.
