The program’s limits of liability vary depending on the size and span of the practice. Professional liability limits, for example, may range anywhere from $250,000 per claim and $500,000 annual aggregate to $2 million per claim and $4 million annual aggregate. An extended reporting period option is available for purchase within 60 days of the insurance policy’s expiration date. This allows non-renewals to receive tail coverage in case any claims are reported after the end of their policy term.

Members of certain professional associations, such as the Pilates Method Alliance (PMA) and the American Pilates Instructors Organization (APIO), receive discounted rates on Lockton insurance. For example, PMA members receive an annual rate as low as $159. Individuals who are not part of such associations, however, are required to pay higher rates.
